Ecosystem Update - August 2024 - Celebrating 1000+ data centres

Hi everyone! In this ecosystem update we’re celebrating a milestone - we now have over a thousand data centres enabled on Console Connect. This makes our platform one of the best connected in the market - offering you extensive global reach to 350+ locations in Europe and the UK, 200+ in Asia, 380+ in the Americas, and many more connections to key locations across Australia, Africa and the Middle East. Hi everyone, In our first ecosystem update of 2025, we share details of 16 additional data centre locations that are now available on the Console Connect platform. We've extended our platform reach in 6 states across the US to help you access more local data centres. Standardise your API interoperability easily and efficiently with our new LSO adaptor

Console Connect is proud to announce the launch of our pioneering LSO API Adaptor, an open-source solution designed to accelerate the adoption of standards-based APIs, such as MEF’s LSO Sonata APIs. This adaptor is now available on GitHub , and we invite you to join our community to download, test, and use it to transform your proprietary APIs into MEF LSO compliant APIs. The LSO Sonata API standard allows for greater interoperability between your services and systems with those of the growing cohort of MEF 3.0-compliant organisations. Standardisation ensures that the true value of end-to-end network automation can be realised. We’ve expanded our partnership with Digital Realty, enabling ServiceFabric™ data centres in Singapore, France, Germany, the United States, and Hong Kong. By integrating Console Connect into Digital Realty's ServiceFabric™, we’ve made it easier to activate a Console Connect port at these Digital Realty data centres, giving instant access to Console Connect’s on-demand services, including private connections to leading cloud platforms, data centres, and premium internet access. Ecosystem update - June 2024

Hi there, This month, we’ve extended our network reach with Equinix, one of the world’s largest data centre providers, to provide greater interconnection choice with their data centre facilities in California. Using Console Connect, you can now access more than 20 data centres in Silicon Valley and the wider San Francisco area, giving greater flexibility and scalability when connecting to businesses in the tech hub. You can now raise support cases more easily

As of May 08 2024, we’ve launched a new ticketing feature on Console Connect, making it easier for you to track problem incidents directly on the Console Connect platform. Instead of a call or email to the team to create tickets on your behalf, we’re now giving you access to create them yourself. With direct access to our ticketing system, you’ll have more visibility over any cases you raise, and the ability to see or request updates in the same app you use to manage your connectivity. From within the Console Connect app, just head to the question mark drop-down menu next to your user picture. You’ll see a new option to report an issue, or to view your support tickets. If you’ve got a fresh issue you need to let us know about, “Report an issue” will start the process. If you already have a case in progress with us, whether it was before the launch of this tool or not, you can see the history from the “view tickets” option. Ecosystem Update - May 2024

Hi there, Did you know that we offer extensive global reach to Equinix in Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia, with nearly 150 locations on-net and extended? In April, we added six new Equinix data centres in the USA and Japan to our ecosystem, as well as reactivating a further five in Tokyo. That means Equinix customers can now order ports to these new locations and start connecting more of their data centre sites together using our on-demand private, high performance network. It also extends their network reach to our full global cloud ecosystem. Speaking of clouds, in April we also added two new cloud on-ramps. OVHcloud is now available at a new location in Paris, and for the first time in London, bringing the speed, reliability and performance you need. Equinix SG4 and SG5 are now active on Console Connect

In early 2024, Console Connect expanded its considerable reach in Singapore with two new data centre locations - Equinix’s SG4 and SG5’s data centres. Here’s what you can expect when connecting through these locations, whether you’re colocating at the site or connecting in. SG4, Equinix’s fourth data centre location in Singapore, was completed in 2020. Along with SG5, completed in 2022, these buildings are connected to the other Equinix-operated data centres (namely SG1, SG2 and SG3, the latter of which has an onramp to Tencent Cloud) via dark fibre, providing a ring network spanning the majority of the main island. Residing in a converted warehouse, SG4 houses seven floors of capacity, allowing for up to 4,000 cabinets. With the capacity provided by SG4, SG5 and the existing portfolio, Equinix claims to be the most network-dense data centre provider in the region, and forms a key part of the Singapore government’s Smart Nation initiative, which encourages development and innovation in

Console Connect is proud to now offer Layer 2 connections to a new Tencent Cloud location in Singapore. We are one of the first Direct Connect partners to offer access to the Tencent Cloud location, enabling more access to its Southeast Asia Pacific cloud region and allowing you to take advantage of Tencent’s worldwide reach and suite of products. How to get started with Salesforce Express Connect

Did you know you can connect directly through to Salesforce Cloud with Console Connect? As a Salesforce Express Connect partner, Console Connect can privately connect between your locations and the Salesforce platform, without travelling over the public internet. Available through our Layer 3 CloudRouter®, you can connect to locations in the US, UK and Japan and manage the connection in real-time via our management portal or connected API. Adding Salesforce to your CloudRouter® is easy - just head into the Console Connect app and head to the CloudRouter® management page from the dashboard. If you don’t yet have a CloudRouter® set up, have a look at our documentation on getting up and running, then head back here.
